Cosmetology
The career center offers Cosmetology as a class that takes up half of a student's schedule during their 11th AND 12th grade year. Any current 10th grade students interested in Cosmetology as a career and wanting to take Cosmetology classes at the career center must pick up an application from their school counselor in the Guidance office. Applicants will be considered based on grades, attendance, discipline, and letters of recommendation. The cost of the program for the junior year is approximately $600.
Applications are available in the GHS Guidance office beginning February 1st and must be returned no later than February 29, 2024 at 8:30 a.m.
