Professional:
I am a second career educator. Before teaching, I spent 15 years with AT&T. I later became a high school math teacher in Baltimore, MD. During my 6 years in Baltimore City schools, I also coached our baseball team to 4 championships. In 2017, my family moved from Baltimore to Clinton, SC. I served as a math teacher and baseball coach at Clinton High School for two years, before becoming assistant principal in Chester and Greenwood counties over the last five years.
Personal:
My wife, Barbara, and I have three children. Our daughter, Amber, remains in Maryland with her husband and 3 children. Our oldest son, Tommy, also lives in Maryland with his wife and 2 children. Our youngest, Keegan, just graduated from Clinton High School, where he played football and soccer. He will attend Carson-Newman University this fall, be a kicker on their football team, and study Wildlife Ecology. When not at school, I enjoy spending time with family, playing golf and pickleball, and sharing the Good News with anyone who will listen.
