Student Interpreter Program

This program is designed for bilingual high school students in grades 9-12. This program provides an opportunity for students to gain real-world oral and written interpreting experience while providing a much-needed service to our community.

Being a member of this program is a great honor as it will give you experiences valued in college applications and the workforce resume. Trained student interpreters will have opportunities to participate in school open-house events, PTO/PTA meetings, college and career fairs, school literacy and math presentations, school carnivals, and other celebrations. Students who participate in the program and complete service hour requirements will be recognized with a special honor cord during the high school graduation ceremonies.

If you are interested in this program please fill out the interest form and return it to your guidance counselor, or to Mrs. Polatty, as soon as possible.
