Making Up Hours

Students must attend the dates offered during intersession and/or go to attendance recovery at Genesis Education Center to make up absences.  "Saturday School" will NOT be offered this school year.

 

Basic guidelines for making up absences at Genesis:

  • GEC Attendance recovery will meet each Monday and Wednesday from 4:00-6:00 p.m.  Transportation will be provided from Greenwood High School to GEC on Bus 46, but the student must provide their own transportation home.  Students are allowed to drive to the sessions.

 

  • Sleeping, disruptive/disrespectful behavior, using cell phones, and listening to music will not be tolerated and may result in the student being dismissed from afternoon attendance recovery.  Students should bring assignments to work on.

 

  • Cell phones should not be visible during the FA time. 

 

  • STUDENTS MUST WEAR THEIR SCHOOL ID’s.

 

  • It is the student’s responsibility to sign in each day on the appropriate attendance sheet for their school.
