Information for 9th-11th Graders

 
If you decide to withdraw or drop a dual enrollment course after the first THREE class meetings, then you will automatically receive a WF which is a grade of 50 on your high school transcript.
 
 
Promotion to the ninth grade will be determined by Greenwood School District 50 Board Policy.  Students in grades 9 through 12 are promoted or retained in grade classifications based upon the  minimum number of credits earned and the courses in which the credits are earned as outlined below:
 
Students who started 9th grade in 2023, 2022, 2021
 
To be classified as a 9th Grader:
Promotion from 8th Grade
 
To be classified as a 10th Grader:
5 units, including one in English, one in Math, and completion of one year of High School 
 
To be classified as a 11th Grader:
9 units, including English 1&2 and completion of two years of High School 
 
To be classified as a 12th Grader:
16 units, including English 1&2, and completion of 3 years of High School 
Students who started 9th grade in 2024, 2025, 2026
 
To be classified as a 9th Grader:
Promotion from 8th Grade
 
To be classified as a 10th Grader:
6 units, including one unit of English, one unit of Math, and completion of one year of High School
 
To be classified as a 11th Grader:
12 units, including 2 units of English and 2 units of Math and completion of two years of High School
 
To be classified as a 12th Grader:
18 units, including 3 units of English and 3 units of Math and completion of 3 years of High School
