What is Palmetto Girls State?
Palmetto Girls State is a summer program. Participants learn about the American system of government and politics by participating in a mock governmental system. The program offers great leadership training and opportunities to prepare speeches, debate current issues, and vote for elected offices.
When and where is Palmetto Girls State held?
Palmetto Girls State will be held June 7-13, 2026 at Presbyterian College. Students must be committed to stay the entire week.
How do I apply for Palmetto Girls State?
Please see Ms. Strom in the Guidance Office to pick up a handout with the QR code for the online application. The deadline for applying for consideration is February 20th.
