Chase Pridgen Named as GHS Head Baseball Coach

Chase Pridgen has been named the Head Baseball Coach at Greenwood High School. Pridgen, who has served as the interim head coach during the 2025 season, will now officially lead the Eagles baseball program.

There will be no changes to the Musical Theater program at Greenwood High School for the 2025-2026 school year. There is a vacancy for a drama teacher for the ACTS Magnet program at Brewer Middle School for the 2025-2026 school year. Qualified applicants can apply at www.gwd50.org/jobs/.

ACCESS for ELLs

States must administer an English language proficiency assessment to limited English proficient students in grades K through 12 in order to comply with the requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, 20 USC 6301 et seq. (2002). For the 2024-25 school year, the assessment administered for this purpose will be ACCESS for ELLs® through the WIDA Consortium.
