Early Grad & Early Dismissal/Late Arrival

Juniors and Seniors have the opportunity for Early Dismissal. (Juniors may have 1 block designated as planning, and Seniors may have up to 2 blocks designated as planning.) Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, students will be granted permission for Early Graduation and/or Early Dismissal ONLY if they have obtained college or career ready status.

We encourage all students to take a full and rigorous schedule, but understand that some students have met the credits needed to graduate, may be interested in volunteering in their prospective career field, interested in fulfilling an academic internship, or would like to work a part-time job. It is the responsibility of each student to check with prospective colleges and universities to ensure that having Late Arrival or Early Release would not adversely impact the chances of admission into the college or university of his/her choice.
The opportunity exits for students to apply for Early Graduation (graduation at the end of the 3rd year of high school or after 7 semesters of high school). A student intending to be an Early Graduate must be on track to complete all graduation requirements by the end of their third year of high school or after seven semesters of high school.
