Beta Club
Join and check the Beta Club Google Classroom regularly! All members were invited to join.
- Members are required to earn 10 service points per year of membership.
- Earn points by participating in Beta Club meetings, participating in Beta Club service projects, and doing volunteer work in the community.
- Seniors who have not earned their required points may NOT wear a stole at graduation.

Teacher Cadet: Any BETA Club Members who are interested in taking Teacher Cadets next semester are encouraged to come by Mrs. Hadd’s Room E211 to pick up an application. Becoming a Member
Freshmen will be invited to join the GHS Beta Club if they meet the following criteria:
- Completed eight high school credits by the middle of their freshman year
- Have a 4.0 GPA on the ten-point Universal Grading Scale
- Consistently display good character
- An out-of-school suspension during the current school year may disqualify a student from membership.
Sophomores and Juniors will be invited to join Beta Club if they meet the following criteria:
- Have a 4.0 GPA on the ten-point Universal Grading Scale
- Consistently display good character
- An out-of-school suspension during the current school year may disqualify a student from membership.
Seniors who meet the following criteria may purchase a Beta Club stole to wear at graduation:
- Have earned at least ten service points per year of membership in the Beta Club
- Have maintained a 4.0 GPA*
- Consistently display good character.
*Probation and loss of membership:
- A student whose GPA drops below 4.0 will be placed on probation.
- The student has one semester to restore a 4.0 GPA.
- A student whose GPA is below 4.0 for more than one semester will lose membership.
- A student will be placed on probation only one time. If his or her GPA drops again, membership will be lost.
- An out-of-school suspension during the current school year may result in loss of membership.
