Coach Hill has 15 years of experience in education and is entering his fourth year at Greenwood High School. A former teacher and football and baseball coach in both the Greenville School District and Richland 2 School District, Coach Hill has dedicated his career to helping students and athletes grow both on and off the field.

 

Originally from Columbia, SC, Coach Hill is a former college baseball player and graduate of Presbyterian College, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He later earned his master’s degree from Lamar University.

 

Outside of school, Coach Hill enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelly, and their three children, Sadie (6), Hayes (4), and Hudson (1). When he’s not coaching or with his family, he enjoys sports, hunting, fishing, and traveling.

 

Coach Hill is proud to call Greenwood home and looks forward to continuing to serve Greenwood High School, its students, athletes, and community.

Professional: After graduating from Presbyterian College in 2010 I began teaching and coaching in Columbia, SC.  For 10 years I taught middle school social studies and coached high school baseball and football in Richland School District Two, before making the move to Greenville County Schools in 2020 where I continued to teach middle school social studies and coach high school baseball and football, in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. 
 
Personal: Originally from Columbia, SC where I lived the majority of my life. After graduating high school, I  attended school and played baseball at Presbyterian College.  In 2015, I met my wife Kelly, and in 2018 we got married.  We welcomed our daughter Sadie (5) in 2020 and 2 years later our son Hayes (3) was born. We are also expecting our 3rd child (baby boy) in September of 2025. When I am not at school I enjoy being outside, hunting, fishing, golfing, or attending any sporting event.
