We are writing to invite your student to attend our upcoming Remediation Days on September 28 and September 29. These dedicated days offer a targeted opportunity for students to recover course credit, improve their grades, and master essential learning material. Your student has been specifically recommended for these remediation sessions based on their academic standing in a core subject.
Below, your student’s teacher has indicated the specific reason for this invitation and provided detailed notes on what your student needs to accomplish:

[ ] Option 1: Content Recovery
The student currently has a grade between 51% and 59% in a core class (English, Math, Science, or Social Studies) and has no zeroes for missing work in the gradebook. Attending both remediation days allows the student to add up to 3 points to their quarter average with a maximum grade of 60.[ ] Option 2: Missing Assignment Completion
The student has been specifically invited by their teacher to utilize this time to complete work that is missing and has a grade of zero. The student is responsible for knowing what work to complete and for asking the teacher to unlock any online locked assignments.

If your student plans to attend, please know that transportation will not be provided from the district. Each student must secure his/her own transportation for the two days. Students will be provided with breakfast and lunch each day.
