Important Traffic Update for Greenwood High School Families

Beginning this school year, Greenwood High School will implement a new traffic pattern designed to improve safety, reduce congestion, and provide a smoother arrival and dismissal process for students, staff, and visitors.

Morning Drop-Off (Beginning at 7:30 a.m. Main/7:45 a.m. H Lot)
Students may be dropped off at either:
• H Lot – Access to academic buildings
• Gym Lot (Gate 1) – Front of the school and early arrivals
Afternoon Pick-Up (Dismissal)
• Please follow the designated parent pick-up route shown on the campus traffic map.
• Merge carefully into the single loading lane as directed.
• For student safety, do not park, leave your vehicle, or have students cross traffic to reach your vehicle.
• Please do not pick up students on Cokesbury Road. This creates a significant safety hazard. Use the designated on-campus pick-up areas instead.
Traffic Exits

Parent pick-up traffic from the Gym Lot must exit through Gate 2 with a right turn only. H Lot traffic will exit through the H Lot.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we implement these changes to create a safer environment for everyone. Please review the attached traffic map and video before the first day of school to familiarize yourself with the new traffic flow.
