· Received a Football and Track Scholarship to South Carolina State University

· 1965 All SIAC Honorable Mention Defensive Back

· 1967 Voted All SIAC Defensive Back

· Elected to the S.C. State University Athletic Hall of Fame in 1998

· 1968 Signed as a Free Agent with the Miami Dolphins

· Defensive Back Coach and Head Track Coach at S.C. State University 1971-1973

· Athletic Director and Coach at Roberts High School 1973-1980

· Athletic Director and Coach at Holly Hill Roberts High School 1981-2004

· Athletic Accomplishments at Holly Hill Roberts while Athletic Director includes 3 State Basketball Championships, 1 State Track Championship, 7 Basketball, 5 Track, 3 Baseball, and 2 Volleyball Region Championships

· Twice his School received the Region Sportsmanship Award

· Been very Active in his Church serving as a Deacon, Chairman of the Couples Ministry, and Director of the Bible Training School
