Welcome to my GHS web page!
The
2007-2008 school year has begun my 29th year in the teaching
profession and my 26th year at GHS. I graduated from Newberry College
in 1977 with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Secondary Education. In 1985 I received a Master in
Education for Secondary Counseling and Guidance Services from Clemson University, and in 1999, I added
thirty hours above my M. Ed. In
November 2002 I became a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of
English Language Arts for Adolescents and Young Adults.
My
husband is Marvin L. Bradley, a science teacher at Greenwood High School. I have one son Will who is presently
attending college. The summer of
2007 was very busy for me. My
January 2006 proposal to speak at the 2007 AP National Conference was
accepted; consequently, in January 2007, I was invited to attend the Las Vegas conference as
a presenter. This was truly a
thrilling experience that I very much enjoyed. I also took two graduate courses
through Converse
College to become
endorsed in the area of Gifted and Talented Education.
