Advanced Algebra/Pre-Calculus
I hope this
will be a great semester for each of you.
Success to me is doing your own personal best. In an effort to keep your parents/guardians
informed of your progress, I will send a grade summary sheet after each chapter
test for their signature. This signed
summary will give you extra credit points on the next chapter test. These summary sheets should come about every
2 to 3 weeks.
Supplies Needed
*3 ring notebook/dividers *Pencils (No pens!!)
* Notebook paper *Open mind
*Graphing calculators will be provided for use in
class but you will need a calculator to use at
home. Scientific calculators are fine
for home use.

Classroom Rules
*Students should bring supplies daily!!
* Students should be in their seats when
the tardy bell rings.
*Students should be respectful of others
at all times.
*Students should not talk among
themselves when the public address system is in operation.
*Students should use the restroom during
class break and not during class.
*Students should not leave their seats
at the end of the class period until dismissed by the teacher.
Subject Policies
*Homework is assigned daily with the
exception of some Fridays.
*All work should be written in
pencil and kept in your notebook.
*It is your responsibility to
make up work when you are absent. When
absent on test days, you will need to make up the test upon your return. If you are absent several days, you will have
one week to make your work up. (School policy)
*Grade sheets will be sent home after each
chapter test. This allows parents to be
informed at all times and ensures that students are constantly aware of their
grade standing. Students should use grade sheet information to make desired
adjustments.
*Grades are broken down as follows: Homework – 20%, Quiz Average – 40%, and
Chapter Test Average – 40%

*It is imperative that you do all of
your homework each day to be successful in math. I am available each morning from
