PARKING REGULATIONS

Parking passes are required of all students who park on campus.  The pass must be placed on the rearview mirror where it is visible at all times.  Parking passes are NOT transferable, so students may not buy a pass and then loan it to another person.  Students found doing this will be referred to their assistant principal for disciplinary action.  Passes may be purchased from the bookkeeper during the school day after the student and his/her parent completes the required information and parent permission form.  Students are not allowed to go to their cars during the school day unless an administrator has given them permission to do so. Students loitering will be disciplined by the administration.  All cars must be parked properly and in designated areas.  Failure to adhere to parking regulations will result in the vehicle being towed at owner's expense and/or loss of driving privileges.  Handicap parking is available for students needing such service and should not be abused by other students.

Parking spaces will be taken on a first-come, first served basis each day.

To obtain a parking pass, students must present a valid driver’s license, schedule and proper fee.  Greenwood High School will not be held responsible for theft of contents, theft of vehicle, damage to any vehicle or contents while the vehicle is on campus.

TOWING WILL BE ENFORCED—Vehicles without passes may be towed without notice.  Towing will be at the driver’s expense.

NOTE:  Greenwood School District 50 has stated that only seniors may drive off campus to the Career Center. All other students must ride a bus.   (See Rules and Regulations for Drivers/Riders on the application form.)
