Exams are administered on the last two days of each semester and will
count 20% of the final grade.
Only seniors who are taking a full unit course may exempt exams at the
end of each semester if they have maintained an "A"
average for that class and the teacher is in agreement to offer the exemption
option.
State mandated End of Course Exams may not be exempted and are often
scheduled a week prior to the end of the semester. Teachers in these classes are expected to
give a test at the exam time on additional material taught after the state
exam. This counts as part of the nine
weeks grade.
